Are they OEM or aftermarket? Some of the aftermarkets fade from dim to bright. For example the Lumitec Seablaze X have a setting that does what you describe.

Unless CC builds their own lights, they are all technically "aftermarket". If you are seeing this while at rest with the lights totally submerged, theres an issue. If you are seeing this while on plane, it could very well be the lights self protect mode. Many lights are designed to either reduce output or shut off when they get hot. When on plane, there is little water to cool the lights.

I was having a similar issue with my Roswell Titan lights. Had to install a separate relay. The one from the linc is not sufficient. That corrected my issue.

True...by aftermarket, I was referring to lights that are not the Nautique OEM parts. Your correct in that the Nautique OEM lights are likely made by someone. In the end what I was getting at is that some of the lights on the market have a fade setting that could be creating the effect described if its not the relay or protection mode.
