It depends on the dealer and the experience level of their tech but I would guess most do not. I spent a good deal of time and $$ trying to fix mine. I would not accept the boat if it has the hiss. It can be fixed. If the dealer cannot figure it out have them pay to have a stereo shop fix it. For what these boats cost it should be flawless, unfortunately this seems to be something that is often overlooked.
Also - make sure you do a water test with the engine running at idle and turn the stereo volume all the way down to make sure the alternator is not causing any whine either.

I have the base stereo in my 2016 and get some funky hiss/whine when running ballast pumps and that is about it.
I also ran a dedicated ground and power wire straight from the battery to my amps and also have the head unit ground and power attached to this. I do not know if I had a worse noise before all of this as it is one of the first things I did. But I learned from MLA and others that one key to eliminating noise in any sound system is to always try and get it all grounded and powered from the exact same location if you can.
And just on a side note, that little 10 inch sub sounds much better with 350 watts instead of the 200 from the factory.
BTW, that boat you are considering is sure pretty!

Marine Audio shops are better than All dealers unless they have a audio tech as well. They can fix you up and not throw some lame RF excuse at you like a dealer. It's a very common problem in the Nautiques... It can be fixed but I wouldn't trust a mechanic with knowing how to fix it to be honest, a Car Audio dealer in the area is even better than a Boat dealer...

Hi...i am a new user here. In my case I made an adapter plate for the different shape head unit. Removed Polk HU and Zone control, rerouted RCA cables, depinned the Polk plug in and repinned into a new connector for the Fusion unit. I then ran the NMEA 2000 cables to the helm and transom, and installed the remotes.
