Just wondering if anyone had heard a new 2017 G from the factory with the 2 JL 12" subs?

Yes, I've heard it. It sounds very good, but I did not order it with my new boat because I could not justify the price.

Just curious- if you were to order all the stereo upgrades (tower speakers, studio elite or whatever, 2-12" subs etc) how much would that cost? +$10k? I'm assuming it's ridiculous

That's about right, for the "biggest and "best" tower and interior stereo upgrade options.

What did you end up ordering for stereo OKWAKEBDR? I was told that if you didn't order the M series studio elite with the 2 subs that you would lose things like zone control.

I ordered the standard interior stereo equipment. The studio elite gets you: slightly different head unit with zone control, wavefront, 2 12" JL subs, 2 JL amps. The standard is 1 10" sub, 1 amp, no zone control, and no wavefront.
