I have the Polk level 3 system with the 4 amps and two Wetsounds 8's on the tower in place of the factory towers. After getting the boat back and dealer telling me the gain was up too high on all the amps and it blew the sub....said they put a new sub in and adjusted everything and it was fine. Stereo is playing great now...all amps and subs working. But...first time out to the lake after the fix, I am now getting a loud "pop" through the speakers every once in a while. It might do it 3 or 4 times in one day of boating. Sometimes maybe just one loud "POP" for a whole day....but it was not there BEFORE the new sub was put in. Any ideas?? Thanks.

Mine does this when NSS engages or disengages. -
Thanks Never. Shop had the boat for a few days and could not re-create the pop. I know for sure it popped without the NSS being on...but i'll try it next time to see if I get a pop engaging or disengaging NSS. Thing is...it NEVER did it...not one..... in the first year and a half up until the new Sub was put in.Comment
