Amp to speaker wiring in a 2009 230?

How is the wiring done in a 2009 230?

    I have 2x PA500.4 and 6x in-boat speakers, 4 tower speakers with 1 sub.
I have only 7 pairs of wires coming to the amp. Obviously 1 pair is the sub which is bridged, the others are non-bridged.

    Thanks

I can speculate on how it is, based on past experience and I can describe how it should be, based on the equipment listed. My guess is, the bow speakers are wired to the head unit. You can test this by disconnecting the RCAs from both amp and then power up the system. Any speaker left playing is driven by the head unit.

I would configure like this: bow on front of one 4 chnl and 2 main pair on rear of same 4 chnl. 2 pair tower pods on front half of 2nd 4 chnl and woofer bridged on rear of 2nd 4 chnl.

I'm removing the 4 pods on the tower to replace them with 2 Rev10, that's why I'd like to know first how the system is wired. If I already have 2 pairs of wires going to the tower then I'll be fine. I don't mind leaving the bow speakers on the head unit.

      I'd like to do this:
      - woofer bridged on 1 channel
      - 2x main pairs on 1 channel
      - 1x Rev10 each on 1 channel

That'll give 250W RMS to each of the Rev10 and leave the inside of the boat with the other amp. Does that makes sense?

The pair of rev-10 would eat up all 4 chnls of 1 amp, so that leaves you 1 pa500.4 to drive the sub on one half (bridged on 2 chnls) and the 2 main cabin pairs wired to the other half of the amp. Bow pair would have to be on the head unit.

          That would be the plan.

The Nautique tower from my 08 and my buddy's 09 210 have one pair (set) of wires running down the tower to the amp. Nautique jumps the speakers at the tower to give them 2 per channel at the amp. So when you go to remove the factory 4 speakers , you'll still be left with one pair of full runs down to the amp. They do not run a 4 pair loom back to the amp. Hopefully that makes sense.

Makes sense. I'm removing 4 speakers to replace them with 2. I'll be ok with only a pair.
