          Looks great, very nicely done.

After last summer I decided that they were just too inconvenient in the glove box so I moved the inputs to the driver's side and turned the glove box inputs into outputs to feed other systems if we tie boats up together.

Very clean and nice looking!! I ran a cable from the back of the stereo, under the floor, and up to the little cubby hole by the drivers right leg, that way I can put my ipod in the cubby and be able to control the song selection from there. Works really nice!!

I am going to do the same as you. I have a couple of questions.
                1) Where did you get the rca plugs? my radio shack thought I was nuts for asking
2)Where did you get the cable for the ipod? I have a 7ft monster from the back of the xmd3, and after I put the plugs in I just want a short cable.

Looks really pro. cant wait to do mine. Thanks for any info. Dee

Deester, I just bought a set of RCA panel mount couplers at the Home Depot. Just go to the section with home audio wiring and you should see a pair mounted on white clips that snap into the wall plates. Take the clips off, and you have a set that you can mount anywhere after you drill the holes. I believe that they were $6.99 a pair.

Yea thats what I did also. I bought a wall plate that had the RCA jacks then just took them off of the plate. I fabed up the black backing and just drilled the holes and stuck them in. There is a ring on the back that screws back on to the stud to hold them in place. Just be careful drilling holes that big. Start small and gradually get bigger so that you dont mess up the gel coat.

Yes it is Monster, got it at Best Buy. Almost passed out when I saw it was 30 bucks. Works great, looks cool but its 7 ft long. seems a little overkill. I wanted one like yours, but I couldnt find it. I am qiickly learning this ipod thing is a money pit. But man is it simple, i love not having to carry cd's anymore and how easy it is to switch music. Very happy I did it, thanks so much for your help. Dee

Wow....think I just figured out my weekend project.

I am pretty ignorant about this stuff, but it looks fairly straight forward.
