I need some help trying the best way to make this additional lights work in the proper way

hook it up to the 12v accessory switch. you will have to run a power and ground through the tower unless you chain it into the tower nav light. and that may be difficult. new runs of wire can be pulled through the tower with a fish tape.
mount the light where you want it, drill a hole in the tower or use an existing one and wire it all together. pins out for using the stock 12v switch can be found on here someplace. i think its like pin #40 or #47 and there is a blank it it. or at least this was my experience for my 2007 236
