Radio Issue AND Will XMD1 - XMD3 fit in '99 Air Nautique?

While trying to analyze the 5475 pinout for the cd changer, I put the radio into "TEL" mode on the display by accidently crossing two wires. The sound cutout as it was supposed to0, but when it came out of "TEL" mode the sound would not come out, but the radio functioned completely fine otherwise.

1.) I've completely unpowered and restarted it, still no sound. Is it still in TEL mode...or is it fried? Any fixing this?

2.) Will the XMD1 - XMD3 fit the opening and/or wiring harness for a 99 Air Nautique? I know the back is a single size DIN AND I think the current cover can be removed.

3.) Any other clarion marine radio suggestions if my unit is fried? I'm really not interested in spending very much.

Its working again...after trying a bunch of stuff, I recrossed the original two wires...it kicked into TEL mode again and the music came back on.

Although it doesnt get me much closer to the ipod hookup throught the changer port...only the 12volt line would kick it into that mode...the 5 volt line would not do it.
