2015 G21 What kind of connector is this? Adding cup holder lights

I am trying to add cupholder lights to my 2015 G21 and I cant figure out what kind of connector this is. I think I have seen some Deutsch connectors on the boat but these are definitely not them. Any ideas? Thanks

To me, it looks like a Molex part. Generally speaking only Moles, Deutsch & Amphenol -AMP (mostly compatible with Deutsch) use round terminals. I work for a company that builds some wire harnesses.

I did a search and it looks like this is a Molex MLX Series Connector

    Link to series:
    http://www.molex.com/molex/products/...wer_connectors

Link to what I suspect is this housing:
    http://www.molex.com/molex/products/...P_HOUSINGS.xml

Link to what I suspect is the mating housing:
    http://www.molex.com/molex/products/...P_HOUSINGS.xml

These are available through several distributors, one we use alot is Waytek, but they have a $35 min or $5 fee
Here is the link to the full series at Waytek:

    Good Luck

Once you have these connectors, was it just plug and play to add cupholders? Interested in adding these myself. Difficulty level or input would be appreciated! I have a 2015 230, but i think the wiring harness etc will be similar.

it was super easy, I just bought one cupholder as a test which worked so I just bought the rest. It is pretty easy, hardest part is finding the wire harness as most of mine were tucked away in hard places to get to. You will also need

It is a little tedious to crimp these but not bad.

Some of my cupholders required a screw driver to pry out.
Mine are wired into the courtesy light switch in the LINC.

Happy that I was able to help. Sorry about the Waytek link, I also noticed that have a to min qty on these housings.

There are some relatively inexpe dive crimpers for pins like this. If there is a combined need for enough units, I maybe could put some pigtails together for this since we have crimpers available.

I maybe interested in this! Let me know if you get more interest to come up with a price.

Does anyone know, if there is just this one connection, or are there several throughout the boat? I am thinking that there may be one near each bank of cupholders, but would like to confirm. Thanks,

I have a plug at each cup, if you don't have courtesy lights you should find a bunch

I should have asked earlier, what AWG (ga) is the wire going into these plugs. In addition, if anyone knows, what AWG wire is on the LEDs that most of you are connecting to?

Also, which wire is the 12 VDC + and which is the ground? I would assume that blue is 12 VDC +, but I have been wrong before.

Pretty sure it is 16 ga, my test I did was blue + and it worked like a champ. If you order the parts linked above it should work. Only thing not mentioned is I got my cups from Nautiqueparts.com

Thanks, do you recall what the wire AWG is on the cup holder? I am going to put a couple wire plug sets and send them to Guntersville for trial. I want to make sure that the splice connectors mate the correct size wires.

What's wrong with cutting off the existing connectors and crimping on your own?
