Advice needed. Tuning of factory sound system.

Would like to know what audio shop people would recommend to have the factory sound system adjusted and the zone control calibrated. In Madison to Pewaukee Wi area. Is there a specialist type shop for marine audio in the area?

most audio shops should be able to do this. i think for it to be worth it, they would need to tune with a multimeter. as for shops, sorry, not local to you. yelp would be a place to start. quality of work is everything to a good shop.

Talked to a local (really large car equipment. And they said they do marine audio also) audio shop today and the guy was very eager to tell me he probably could not make my factory polk system sound better, and recommended I replace it with JL audio. Also said wetsounds is junk. Curious answer given some of the things I have heard on this forum about the various brands and systems. Doesn't give me much confidence.

We he says "Wetsounds is junk" that is code for he doesn't carry it and doesn't know much about it. The inverse scenario would be just as ridiculous.
With proper tuning you can make the factory system better. No doubt about it. That doesn't mean you'll be 100% satisfied....but it will improve with the right tuning skills. You have no choice but to take the guy at his word and move on to another option. Maybe to another store. Or just on to a smarter guy in the same store. It might not be cultural, just the one guy.

I am going to talk to a guy at a different place. Btw he said he carries wetsounds but does not stock it because JL is waaaaay better and that's why he doesn't sell the wetsounds stuff. Seems ridiculous.

JL is a great product, no disputing that, and so is wet sounds, Between the two, there are certainly many models that make for a fair comparison when designing a system. To make a comment like that shows nothing.

I'll see if this other guy will try and tune my factory system.

I'm curious to see how it turns out. I have a 2014 210 as well. I have the level 2 stereo package with a Sub and 4 horn tower speakers. I haven't gotten to mess with the settings much but it doesn't sound very impressive at this moment. I also have feedback issues on the tower speakers. I've seen a few fixes I haven't gotten a chance to try but in all I've been disappointed with the over all sound.
