i have a 24 starting battery and a 31 deep cycle in my Super Sport. I had both in one corner to counterbalance the driver, but my ballast sacs pushed on the boxes so I now have one in each corner on the shelf. That has caused some of my ground wire runs to change. My question is can I have my amps connected direct to the port group 31 battery and then a 3' wire connecting that battery to the bus? Or do all grounds need to connect at the bus? I don't want noise. They are isolated with a blue sea si-acr.

Does this sound like the best plan? I have 2 amp grounds ((4GA)Syn-4) and an accessory bus that is under the dash (4GA) that should ground to the Deep Cycle... Then the boat itself should ground to the starting battery. So should I then strap the two grounds onto a bus? Or just a 2GA from ground post to ground post?

Amps = direct to the house battery
Main engine/boat ground = direct to main cranking/original battery
Large gauge ground linking cable between battery negatives is best. No need to introduce more connections points here with a BUS or remote ground stud.
this places three ground lugs on the house battery and two on the main cranking. One more on the main cranking would be a ground cable to a ground BUS for additional grounds that are likely smaller draws.
