Took boat out today and there was no sound from the stereo. When mode was Bluetooth through IPhone I could see song was playing on System but any volume change it would still produce no sound. iPhone volume was all the way up. I also tried FM radio and zero sound from that too. Mute appears to not be on. Could I be missing something simple?

So the amps power lights are not on. Both inline fuses located close to both amps are fine. Also the breakers in the battery switch bay by the walk through are not tripped. Is there another source/fuse that can be checked?

Did you check the fused with a volt meter? If so, did you check voltage right at the amp? B+, B- and small turn-on? With both amps not power up, odds are the head unit is not commanding them on. Checking voltage would narrow it down

I have not checked with meter. I am not that proficient when it comes to what to test with the volt meter and where to test for voltage, i.e. where to actually put the volt meter test prongs. I am not sure what B+ and B- is. When you say "small turn on" I believe you are talking about the blue wire that comes from the head unit and ties directly into the amps and tells them when to turn on? I am going to bring my volt meter on the boat tomorrow. I will check voltage directly to the amps. If I put my volt meter on the small turn on wire what volt # am I looking for?
Just to to be clear too, my dealer will be taking ownership of this issue through warranty but they are tied up till next week. I am just trying to problem solve before since I'll be using the boat a few times before they'll be able to look at it. Maybe I'll learn a few things from the process too.

OK, let's start here: http://mediacdn.jlaudio.com/media/mf...pdf?1305758648
Read through the documentation. This will get you a lot of the way through this.
There are TWO power feeds for these amps. One is a really big wire that actually supplies the amp power. With the battery switch on, this lead should have power. Next is the small "turn on" wire. This is a small wire that tells the amp to turn itself on when it senses 12VDC on it. This one should only have power when the radio is on.
My money is on the "turn on" wire.

Not to be critical, but the above ignores the amp ground, though I believe its unintentional. There are two larger cables and one small cable. its takes a complete 12 volt circuit at the amp on those two large cables, in order to have voltage. Just checking on the positive, overlooks the ground.

Per MLA's suggestion yesterday, I did check things with the volt meter today. Both amps have the full 12.2 volt power getting to them via the larger red wires. I got zero volts at the blue wire remote turn on connection at the amps. I also tested the blue remote turn on wire directly where it comes out of the Polk head unit and again got zero volts. So MLA and Charles you were correct on your thoughts on possible issue. That's as far as I can take it personally so my dealer is going to take a look at it next week and likely put in a new head unit (hopefully!). I appreciate the help with this.

Now, lest presume we did connect to a common ground point on the boat, such as the battery B- with out meter's NEG lead. We will test 12V B+ on the amp's B+ and turn-on and assume all is good. All the while the amp B- cable is the issue. We didnt see it cause of where we connected out meter's NEG lead.

If the head unit is powered up and there is no 12V on the blue/wht remote turn on, then its an internal head unit issue. Just make sure its the turn-on, not a power antenna lead, which is sometimes solid blue. Not sure if the polk has this, but the power antenna can go dead when in any other mode but tuner.

The head unit does turn on and functions as should except for the no sound or power to amps. The solid blue wire that comes out of the head unit connects to a grey plastic connector with other wires within about 6 inches from the head unit. On the female end of this connector, where this blue wire would contact when the two pieces are connected, are what seams to be the same blue and blue with white stripe wires that eventually go to the remote turn on connection on the amp. I can't follow the actual wire because it goes behind things, and I didn't check continuity to confirm that wire ends up at the connection. I am pretty confident though it's was the correct wire I tested, but didn't confirm.
