So Nautique admitted that there is an issue with the Polk head unit in my 17 g23 and has been since new just 1 year ago. They said the only fix to the issue is to replace the head unit with the new JL unit. Nothing else they have tried has worked. Swapping the units out is the only fix..... but they will not cover the cost of the unit nor the install.

*Nautique warrants to the original owner or user, that each new Nautique boat, as originally manufactured by Nautique, shall under normal authorized use be free of defect in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years or 1,000 hours from the date of delivery (whichever comes first). This warranty applies to factory-installed components including boat parts, options or other components not manufactured by Nautique Boat Company and is transferable one-time only to the second owner.

I have a 2016. What are my options for changing out the Polk head unit. My biggest issue is I’d like to bypass a “feature”. When my volume level hits #18 or #19 it just falls on its face. The unit cuts the bass out I’m assuming to protect speakers/subs. I’d very much love for this not to happen…

you could do a JL media master and have the oem screen display everything if you get the retrofit kit from your dealer. or go down the aftermarket route with just about any multizone source unit and loose the factory display showing stereo info. up to you and your budget.
