    2015 SAN 210 Amp/Speaker arrangement

I have experienced an odd noise coming over the speakers a few times now while underway that sounds like ground issue? So last night I took a closer look at the stereo/amp/speaker arrangement but I am far from an expert in this field.

Can anyone tell me the OEM speaker wiring arrangement on a stock 2015 SAN 210 with the 'Stereo - Level II includes Polk Audio AmpSubwoofer & 2 Bow Spkrs' upgrade package and 'Tower Speaker Prep Kit w/ Pre-Wired 4000.4 Polk Audio Digital Amp' with 'Tower Speakers - 1 Pair 6X9 - Roswell Focals'

Are the 4 cockpit speakers simply fed from the Polk head unit amp? The tower speakers are obviously run from the PA D4000.4 amp. Are the Sub woofer and the bow speakers both powered by the PA D5000.5?

I think that is the arrangement but the amount of wiring coming out of both amps has me somewhat confused. I should have taken a photo of the back side of each amp...

The next time I hear the interference noise I will have to pay more attention to what speakers in particular are producing it but I think for sure it was at least the 4 cockpit speakers.

    Thoughts?

I just finished replacing my 5000.5 amp. The sub, cockpit and bow speakers are all fed off of the 5 channel amp. Only the tower is fed off the 4000 amp. Nothing is powered off the headunit internal amp.

Thanks - I just figured that out last night when I unplugged the inputs and felt the woofers of the bow speakers stop working. Appreciate the confirmation though!

So...does anyone know if there is a reason why the 4000.4 amp is set to HPF instead of FULL for the tower speakers? Are the Roswell Focals not full range speakers???

Yes, because its best. Yes, those are full range speakers, but we still need to limit their range on the low wide.

Not a good idea to plug in and unplug RCA with system powered up and playing. Great way to find out what chnls drive what speakers, just power down to plug in/unplug RCAs.

Thank you for both pieces of advice (he said feeling foolish)...I know better than that.
