    Mounting amps 2000 SAN

i have no experience with stereo equipment. My buddy was supposed to help but he is being really flaky. So my first question, can I mount amp directly to the wall under my observer seat? I want to mount them on the left side of this picture. I'm thinking that is right up against the hull. Is it ok to mount here? What type of screws and length would I use. that is against the hull. you could make an amp board to mount there, cover it with carpet and attach with Velcro. would be easy to access amps, just pull the board out. just a thought, mine are mounted to the rear side of the driver kick panel. pita to work on...

Most use a product called Starboard and cover it with carpet to match the mounting location. Here is a sample picture from a post courtesy of CAM003.
