MP3 player & Clarion CMD4

Hello everybody,

I have a Clarion CMD4 installed in my boat and it comes with an AUX input.
I want to connect my MP3 Player(Creative zen micro) to the CMD4 through
the AUX input using a cable.
So i bought a jack plug 3.5mm(like in the picture) and i tried to connect the MP3 player.


But it seems that this cable doesn't fit to the AUX input, i hear only from one speaker
only if i play with it and move the plug in the AUX input i can hear from both speakers, but it's impossible to set a good position and leave it.

So what should I do? what cable should I use?

I bought this at Best Buy last week and if the rain stops and anytime this decade (and we get the animals paired up) will try it out. It's their store brand, they have a Monster equivilant for $40

this cable is jack plug to 2 RCA
i don't think that the aux input in my boat is for RCA
it looks like a jack plug connection
