Hi Guys~
Think this is actually my first thread... so first let me say thanks for this great site. I've been able to get tons of answers to lots of basic questions just by searching. Now... the real 1st issue I've had with my 16 G21 (this just started yesterday):
Just had the 25 hour service done a week+ ago and all went fine.... had the boat out last weekend and had no issues w/ the tunes or the boat. Yesterday, out of nowhere, the stereo just shut off right after I fired up the boat. There is nothing apparently wrong in the LINC system as that appears to be fine... it appears to be all based in the head-unit shutting off on its own.
I did a couple of hard resets (batteries off) and still had the same issue. Even from a "cold start" - head unit turns on... starts playing bluetooth music like there is no issue... and then boom... out. It was cycling back on on its own back and forth a little yesterday (but it would not restart on its own for at least 45seconds if at all). I'd try to manually turn on the unit at the head-unit... nothing there either.
Anyone experience anything similar / have any suggestions? I hate bothering the dealer if its a relatively simple fix. First question I'm sure I will be asked: yes, I checked the grounds on the batteries - all appears good (though I did not check grounds @ the head-unit and/or the AMPS as that is something I'll leave to the dealer).
Thanks in advance guys-
Dan
