JL Head Unit and Transom Remote Retrofit

I inquired about this with my local dealer twice and was blown off the first time and the second I was looked at rather strange for making such an inquiry. Any idea where I can find a capable dealer in Texas who's willing to work with me?

Curious..... some have had a successful swap to the new head unit with the new software and are saying everything is now working the way it should..... with the new software updated to match the 2018 software, would they now be able to have the steering assist added to the boat and have its full functionality?

maybe. i have noticed with my software update for the new head unit, i also have functionality for the heated driver and passenger seats, but my boat doesn't have them

I bought the MM100 to retrofit onto my 2017 G and also picked up the retrofit kit from the dealer (minus the transom remote parts since I don't care to have one and it cut the cost down significantly). I've run into 1 problem and that is that my LINC screen to old Polk headunit used some kind of 4-pin JDAB connector and there's no way to connect the LINC to the JL unit. Does anyone know if there's a way to convert the JDAB 4-pin to N2k? Or is there a different wiring harness for the LINC to stub out an N2k port?

Separately the wiring harness has about a 20ft green/yellow pair stubbed out to power and a couple deutsch connectors which I have no idea what it's for but guessing I don't need it. It's clear the HU will have the appropriate power / amp turn on connections and RCAs for the zones, once the LINC is connected should be set and I will leave the long green/yellow wire disconnected.

Turns out the yellow/green 20ft section actually gets run around the bow into the LINC screen. This provides the remote connectivity via the NMEA adapter into the headunit. My older version of the JL MM100s already has a deutsch connector CAN bus but it's male and I need to connect it to the male on the wiring harness so a little modification will be required. Nautique sent me the PDF installation guide if anyone needs it.
