Real happy with the Syn-DX2.3HP for this setup. Off the hook is two (2) SDX-6 amps and this leaves you 4 spare chnls for 3 pair of in-boats or 2 pair of in-boats and 600W for a woofer.

Putting in a WS SD2 to run one pair of Rev10 and according to my dealer it is what they use to power 4Rev10s. I am sure that is fine to do it this way.
      The specs are:
      2 Channels @ 400 Watts Each @ 4 Ohms (2 Rev 10s)
      2 Channels @ 620 Watts each (split into 310 Watts per speaker) @ 2 Ohms (4 Rev 10s)

I have quite a bit of experience and it makes sense to me but, I would be more likely to add another SD2 when I get the other pair of Rev10s. I am sure it will be overkill but I personally prefer to use an amp at 75% of its capability (1 pair @ 4 ohms per channel) vs. the other option. At some point distortion will come into play and the harder it works the higher the chance of introducing distortion comes into play.
      Just my 2 pennies worth.

Yes, the Wet Sounds SD-2, as well as the new Syn-DX2.3HP, where designed with the basic purpose of driving 2 pair of larger tower pods. Most any modern, quality 2 chnl amp will be able to drive 2 pair of 4 ohm tower pods with little to no detectable distortion, when tuned correctly and driven with a solid signal source. The difference between a quality 2 chnl like for example the JL M200.2 and the Wet Sounds SD-2 or Syn-DX2.3HP, is the wattage available for the speakers. This allows you to see the speakers potential. Both the SD-2 and Syn-DX2.3 will drive 2 pair at the same wattage.

I have used the Arc Audio 600.2 to run 2 pair of REV 10's and have been very happy with it. 300 watts per unit, and it is a good quality amp, but not quite the $$$ of the Wetsounds.

Its more actually. More than the Syn-DX2.3HP which will deliver the same wattage, but is a little bit more efficient. sealed and marine built.
