White JL Audio Tower Speakers with Stock LED down lights

Has anyone had any success retro fitting the LED down lights that come stock on the grey tower speakers to the same speaker only in white?

Would probably be better to just have the cans painted white. That’s an easy job for a good shop.

We deleted the tower package out of our order and they are send it to Tim at Scream Marine to do the sub and tower setup and including it in the purchase price. If you did that you could get white wetsound cans, but it sounds like your objective is to keep the down lights which you would clearly lose with the Revs. We fought with this and decided to do the LED rings in the Revs and that would give us enough cabin light for what we need.

Those downlight light Leds are pretty sweet little feature if you're like us, we do a ton of night cruising on ccl. I'm doing the upgraded sound package with the 2 subs and a pair of 8.8s. To be honest I haven't heard the system but I like it stock for warranty purposes and accountibility. Do you recommend something else, obviously the revs, but thoughts on that upgraded package?

If you are brave enough, you can put a small flush mount LED puck in the bottom of the pods. id say a .5" round white in each pod would be plenty of light.

Hotsoup, we have that system.. Very pleased with it. It will get down for sure. I'm trying to fiqure out how to turn those white LED's to red as white is so freaking bright..its like daylight at night. So I think you could get them sprayed by a body shop pretty easy. Im going to take mine apart this spring along with all my other lights n convert over.. If u get then done, put up some pics please..

gmdog - are you talking about how bright the led's are on the tower speakers? Great to hear about the system, thank you for the input. First nautique, trying to figure out all the goodies. Where you at in Michigan? I used to live there.
