Powering two Wet Sounds XXX SPL 12’s?

Just recently ordered two Wetsounds XXX SPL 12’s without thinking of how the heck I was going to power them lol. I have a Syn6 amp but it will be on 6 Revo6.5’s and 2 Rev10’s and I’m hoping that’s enough power for all those lol. Was wondering if anyone has ran two of these in their boat and what kind of amp they used. Wanting to stick with a single amp for the subs and not have to split into two. Therefore, I’m going to have to get something other than Wet Sounds, sadly. Also has anyone ran these subs around 500-600 watts? Was wondering how efficient they are on low power. That would save me some $$ and headache. Any advice or ideas are greatly appreciated!

My choice for a single amp to drive a pair of 12XXX: http://www.kicker.com/kxa24001-2400-watt-mono-amplifier

So you have the original Syn-6 to drive 6 in-boats and a pair of Rev-10? Id get a Syn-DX4 for the rev-10 and then let the Syn-6 drive the 6 in-boats. The old syn-6 is going to be 55W rms to each in-boat and 155W rms for rev-10 up against two 12" woofers.

Kicker amp looks like a beast! Really don’t want to spend another $1000 on an amp though. And yeah I may sell my Syn6 and see about some newer Wetsounds amps in the future. Only problem is space. It’ll be hard to squeeze 2 amps in much less 3 lol.

Honestly you might be better off with just 1 XXX, and then like MLA recommended getting a separate amp for the Rev10s. 2 XXX is A LOT of sound!!!

Need to keep in mind that the old Syn-6 has the footprint of like two other amps. swapping it out frees up a lot of space.

If 500-600 watts rms to each woofer is your goal, id go with a pair of Revo-12HP in ported enclosure over the XXX. Drive them with a Kicker KXA1600.1

Then go with a pair of Syn-DX4, one for in-boats, one for Rev-10.
