Stupid Cover Question

I have just received a custom fit cover from CC for my 98 Air Nautique. It has the cut outs for the flight control tower and at each point the rope around the bottom breaks out. What I would like to know it how to tie these .25inch ropes and connect the cinch rachets. Pictures would be great if you have any. I feel really stupid but all can do is stare at it I am just purplexed so help

The rope should hook back to itself. Look for loops on both sides of the cutouts.

Yeah, we had to make our loops ourselves and cut the rope down a bit to get a nice easy fit

I just tie new loops where I need them as the rope stretches, and leave the rest just coiled up in the velcro flap.
