    Bow speakers not working

Hello - I have a 2008 230 Team Addition and am looking for the stereo wiring diagram. The stereo system is factory stock. I recently purchased the boat and everything stereo/sub/speakers seemed to work fine except I have no sound coming out of the 2 front bow speakers. I checked the fade control at the head unit, I removed one of the speakers and hooked them up to my home unit and it worked fine. I've checked the fuses at the amps and what wiring I can see. I'm trying to figure out which amp is controlling them and trying to determine if I have a amp issue or a crossover issue. Does anyone know how to remove the coming pad in the bow area around the speakers. Not sure if it will do me any good to remove but the crossover is wire tied with other wires at the very top of the gunnel in a area I cannot see it at all. Didn't know if removing the coming pad would allow me more access. If anyone has a wiring diagram and any thoughts, please share. Thank you!

Quite possible the bow speakers are wired directly off the head unit, that is how my 2005 TE came from the factory, want to say the other 4 speakers and sub fed off the factory AMP.

My 06 had the bow speakers running off the head unit as well. Removing the combing pads in the bow will require pulling the pads out at the bottom x-mas tree fasteners then lifting them off these metal brackets. But I don't think it'll give you much more access. Start by taking a look at the back of the head unit, you can see where the speaker wires come off the hu and run up towards the bow.

Thank you Scooner and Quinner. This make sense since tracing wires from the amps has led me nowhere. Greatly appreciate it!

I am guessing the previous owner may have had some amps in there when he sold the boat put all the factory stuff back in, but forgot to re hookup the bow speakers to the actual head unit .

in the factory configuration the bow speakers ran directly off the head unit while the cabin speakers and sub ran off the single Clarion amp . So trace the speaker wire from bow and and re attach the to the head unit speaker outputs. I don’t recall the color coming from clarion head unit , but just look up your model on clarion site and the
y will tell you the color codes

colors should be gray, gray with a black stripe, white, and white with a black stripe. you are looking specifically for the stereo speaker connector under the passenger side dash. there is another connector with only four or five pins, you are looking for "SPEAKERS (SOCKETS)" in the upper right hand corner of the MAIN wiring harness i posted last week.

trace from there or send us pics

I think, distinguishedmotorsp provide the best answer, I just going to tell the things distinguishedmotorsp already provided. You can follow him and let us know the output of it.

The problem was one of his breakers by his battery switch was popped that supplied power to amp for those speakers
