I was thinking of adding the factory clarion amps and defcon polk tower speakers. What do you guys think of the set up? Is it a waste for $1000? Thanks

IMO the best bang for the buck at the moment are the WetSounds Pro80s for about $900/pair. If you don't like the styling you could go with the Audioformz 6x9 like Redelf. Either will run OK off the factory amp, but an upgrade for the amp would also help. The WetSounds will sound about twice as loud as a car based speaker.Comment
