    Wiring Seperate Radio Switch

    Hey Guys,

I am new to the forum and just picked up my first boat. I ended up scoring a 2003 Super Air Nautique Limited. Nice boat and I love it, I am just working on getting it all dialed in. I realized my first time out that the hour meter runs when we are only listening to the radio, i am not sure if this is because the all on switch has to be on in order for the head unit to power the radio but i figured someone has figured out that problem and what i can do to eliminate the hour meter running. Thanks in advance for the help.

Your 03 has a touch pad, right? You can find the meter's B+ and relocate it to what would be the ignition RUN switched output.

Or, make sure the head unit yellow is on a B+ and move the red to a rocker switch.
