2016 230 auto volume setup

Ok I feel like an idiot. How do you setup the auto volume? I can't see how to adjust the speed/volume paramters and the manual is no help.

I just found the answer buried in another thread by member Wayward: "...the '16 speed volume is awesome. Instead of it using its own randomly determined levels, it works like- Turn speed volume on. While at idle, set your desired level. pull your rider up and Accelerate to the cruise lock in point and set your own desired high level........ rider falls and the system will go back down to your set low level. pull them back up and it will go back to your set high level.....every time. Wanna tweak it? simple- just set your new high or low level while the boat is at the desired set point."

You can adjust the volumes from min to max on audio set up prompt tab at the bottom of your screen but I don't think there is a feature allowing you to adjust the min and max volume based on speed. In my G23 the volume goes from high to low based on speed even though I can't change the volume based on speed ; the boat just does it automatically when the Auto Volume feature is in the on position.

Ok that makes sense, thanks. I guess I was over thinking it and assuming it's like the speed/volume app I used on my '08 230 (with my phone).

Didn't know this feature which Wayward describes, I will have to try this as well. I had my min set at 6 and max at 30 on volume, problem was at idle the 6 was fine but you had to get the boat up to say 25 mph before the max volume kicked in. I want to set my max volume at 11.5 mph which is the speed we wakesurf vs 25 mph. Thanks for digging this thread up again.
