    Moving Tower speakers on SV211

I’m tired of everyone getting knocked out when they hit their heads on my tower speakers. I have a 2007 SV211 and wanted to see if anyone moved them over to the corners. If so, how did on do it and did it help?

    Thanks in advance.

2007 SV211TE. Does anyone know what model tower and dimensions for mounts? I’m trying to move speakers.

I have an 06 and hit my head all the time too. The simple solution for my family is to leave the bimini top open. I bet you could flip them over and mount the cans on top of the tower. The only down fall to that is I hold the cans when folding down the tower and moving them to the top would make it a lot harder.

They are very dangerous and I would like to move them to the corners. I could flip them on top and get a bimini that goes underneath.

My head hurts just thinking about them. I will probably upgrade to something like the WS Rev 8 even though they hang down they don't have the hard flat edge.

Can you mount the wetsounds in the corner?

You are only going to be able to move those out a couple more inches and thats it. it would take some wild arse elaborate rotatable bracket and clamp system, in order to get those double pods in the corners.

Upgrading to a single pair of 8" coaxial, like the Wet Sounds Icon-8, will give you better sound quality. With the TC3-S clamps, you can mount just about anywhere and be able to angle/aim them as needed.

Sounds like I need to sell my double JL Audio pods and get the Wetsounds. Thanks for the help.

In my old boat the former owner moved them to top of tower like this....He was super tall I heard. Does form follow function or does function follow form?

I can spin cans on top, but it would screw up my bimini top.
