I just purchased a 2016 Ski Nautique 200, only to find out that the underwater lights do not work. The left light only lights partial and the right light does not light at all. Looks like they filled up with water and shorted out.
Because the dealer is a distance away, we agreed to have the lights shipped to me, and I would change them. I cannot feed the new wire. They are located behind the gas tank. I soldered the new wire to the old, and I cannot pull it through. It must be zip tied somewhere behind the tank. Nautique loves to use zip ties.
I am think of running a fish tape, from the outside. Maybe that will work.
Has anyone ever changed these lights without removing the gas tank? Your opinion's will be greatly appreciated.
