Tower Clamps - cheap!

Anyone tried these little suckers? Thinking about getting a couple to mount a light bar on the tower. Also, anyone know off hand the FCT2 tower bar diameter?

Their light bar products are junk. The clamps were made of sand-cast, pot-metal aluminum, and the hardware and threading was sloppy. I couldn't even find the company to call them about the issues. I finally found the parent company after researching some lawsuits.

I suggest that you keep looking.

Well dang I ordered Monday and will have them today. I went through Amazon so if there are issues I should have no problem getting a refund or replacement. Hopefully they mess up and send me some good ones.

Update - opened them up today and seem solid and well made. Going to try and go test the fit today, and if not will be next week and will update again.

Another update - tested on the tower and fit great. There was a very small gap between the clamps, but I did not fully tighten them down yet. I went with the 1 7/8 clamp.

I use for docking at night, if we are in the boat when it is dark, or if I need light at night working in the boat. I am not going to be doing any night riding or anything. Also, there were old school lights on my tower already and didn't like how they looked so just upgrading.

Not wanting this to turn into a should we have lights or not thread. Just giving some feedback on some cheaper options for tower brackets for whatever you want to mount.

Thanks! Added the 2nd pair of clamps but had to wait on the 2nd light bar. That will go on Sunday.

Finally all finished. See the longevity of the clamps, but feel solid and worked.
