Depth and Water Temp

The new to me boat (2016 Sport Nautique) I'm getting doesn't have depth/water/air temp built into the gauge package which is something that I've had standard on all my previous boats. I was wondering what others have done to add these features to their boat as we surf in a shallower lake(s) and it's nice to have the depth gauge to find the deeper water to surf. I'm sure the models with the link system offer these features but I'd like to know if the Nautiques are pre-wired for these options like most the MasterCrafts are and this is something I can just buy the components and add myself or if this is going to be the type of upgrade where I'd need to cut a hole in the bottom of the boat to add. Obviously I really don't that. If anyone else has done a similar upgrade or has any idea how to do this without drilling holes I'd really like to know this.

I know before GPS based speed control the transducer for all this was integrated into the paddle wheel (on at least the MasterCrafts) so all that was needed on their boats was the gauge and a connector.
