Help with Audio issue - 2007 SV211

I have a 2007 211TE, with the standard Clarion CMD4 +APX480 set up.

This weekend, the rear four/cockpit speakers and subwoofer stopped working, but the front 2 speakers still work as do all the features of the head unit.

I didn't spend a lot of time diagnosing what might be wrong, but the blue lights on the amp still work, and the connections are all still intact.

My guess is that the amp is screwed, but not being a stereo expert, wanted to see if anyone could confirm that (as opposed to say a part of the head unit being fried).

If it is the amp, would be interested in suggestions for a replacement unit to drive the 4 speakers and subwoofer.

As its a 12 year old boat that we will be upgrading shortly, not looking to spend a ton of money/upgrading to a WS/JL system. So am looking for mid price-range replacements.

Let me know what I should be considering.

John - I have two Kicker 4 channel (65w/ch) marine amps that were removed from my 211 when I upgraded to an all JL system last year. Would get the job done until you get the new system. Lemme know if you’re interested.

I had the same problem in 07 210 , one of the push button breakers next to my battery switch had popped. You couldn't tell by looking at it so just push everyone one firmly to make sure !

Hi Polidori - thanks for the offer. Unfortunately I am in Canada and once freight, duty and taxes are factored in, it will be pretty expensive and I still need to figure out if its the amps or head unit.

#Turbo - thanks for the suggestion - I will check it this weekend when I am back at the cottage - hopefully its something simple like that!
