    99 Super Air Blank Slate

We've got a 99 Super Air this is going to need a stereo refresh over the winter.

    Currently:
Older Clarion Head Unit and Transom Remote. The latter Doesn't appear to work.
No idea on in-boat speakers. 3 of 4 work
Unidentified Tower Speaks. Seem to work marginally but the cans are pitted badly and them seem to distort with any volume.
2- RF amps that look decent and seem to power up. They are mounted to back side of the helm kick panel.
1- 10" sub in a 12" box under the passenger flip up seat. lol It moves but doesn't do much.

I got this head unit as a gift but haven't had the time to install yet:

Also Ended up with 4x Alpine SPS-M600s for in boats as a gift that I haven't installed yet.

I think I want to re-wire anything in the boat. The tower wiring seems to be fairly well done but the rest needs some new connections at the very least. There are more twist on connectors and electrical tape than I care to mention.

    - As far as wiring I've done a few single amp systems but I'm going to run two like it is currently. One for the tower and one for the in-boats/sub. Should I plan on a distribution block? I see most of them are fused, would it be wise to run a big fuse by the battery and then a non fused distribution block closer to the amps themselves? Or does it make it sense to have fuses in both spots? The battery connections are also a giant mess.

Any good suggestions for which two amps to use?

I'd like to move the sub since it takes up some valuable room or maybe just rethink the position under the flip up seat. I think I'd like to go with a 12". My pro air had a JL10" that was nice but tended to get drowned out at cruising speed.

Use: We cruise with the kids mostly, wakeboard some, and just started surfing... And it needs to be "hearable" over the 502

I'm not going for a 6000 watt monster.

It has two batteries currently.. The second only appears to have the tower speakers/sub amp hooked to it. I was in such a rush to get the motor back in I didn't really mess with anything yet. (The attached pictures are of the rats nest on the "main" battery
