JL Audio MM100s - Frozen/"No Stereo Detected" - How to reset?

Title says it all. We have a new 230, and the stereo is frozen. The head unit is frozen w/ the blue screen, and I have no clue how to reset it. Any thoughts? I've held the power button down and cycling the batteries on/off just returns back to the blue screen. Also, you can see on the Linc Screen where it says "no stereo detected". It's with the dealer now, but we are going to grab it this weekend and I'm hoping there is a quick fix.

Overall, we've had few other issues with this. Volume will show max yet absolutely no sound coming from the speakers despite a good connection via BT and even FM.

Thanks for any and all input. Click image for larger version

So the LINC is showing "No Stereo Detected" because the headunit isn't booting up. The LINC is really just a remote for the headunit.

Looks to me like that headunit has failed.

      Thanks, Charles.

I knew the linc served as the remote, but I was just pointing out that there was no signal running to it and I couldn't control the headunit from the Linc system either.

I'm going to request the dealer just replace the headunit. I think that is going to be the best course of action.

p.s. thanks the work you did on the 230 surf setup. We've added lead bags and it was a big difference.

Same exact problem on my 230 with the JL head unit. Dealer did a reset. Did not help. JL Audio needs software update. Known issue.

Funny my JL in my 2018 230 just did the same thing on Sunday. Turned head unit off and powered boat down , Now nothing . Any one know how the dealer does the reset?
And is there a software update?

We ended up having to replace the headunit. With yours still being under warranty and all, I'd go down that path as opposed to any software update.

There is an update on JLAudio's website. Here's the link: https://jlaudio.zendesk.com/hc/en-us...lation-Process

That said, there's nothing in the notes about fixing a lockup condition.

Checked all my power and grounds. All are good. Just strange how it just stopped working. To the dealer it goes.

My JL did the same thing. Has anyone attempted the software update to see if that will fix? Or is the headunit toast?
