    200 Sport Nautique Jump Seat

I'm looking at upgrades for next season and one of the options I that didn't come with my boat was the jump seat. The 200 Sport Nautique seems to be very sensitive to side to side weight placement and with the pylon mounted in the center of the interior this option would seem to be very useful when going out for those early morning runs with more than 3 people.

I wanted to see what people with this option actually thought about it and if it were something they would purchase again. Also if anyone has actually purchased one I'd like to get an idea of the cost. I'm going to call my dealer later this month to see from them if they can still get one for me and what the cost would be.I did notice that the holes for the option are already there in the observer seat so I'm thinking this should be a fairly straight forward option to add.

Thank you for any feedback you can provide.....

once upon a time i had the sales sheet with the part numbers of all the interior cushions for a sport 200 i had for sale but i have since deleted it it looks like. Nautique parts has it, Townsend or Michelle over there can take care of you. Pricing i don't recall exactly but a few hundred.

I have a call into Townsend. For a couple hundred dollars if for nothing else I'll buy it just to round out the option list on the boat. Seems like it would be a good option to have.

Would it be the same one for your boat as mine? My boat is a vDrive.

My boat is a direct drive, 1999 Sport Nautique. I’ve not had an occasion to use the jump seat. If you’re interested, I can take a picture of it.

Unfortunately I don't think it'll fit as the 2 boats are so apart on years and configuration. Thank you for the offer though. Really wish it was the right one.

Were you ever able to find a jump seat for your 200? I have a 2012 and would like to add one as well.

I was. I ordered it from Nautique Parts. It wasn't cheap but the quality is excellent and it matched my interior perfect. I thought I would only have it in the boat when we skied but I installed it back in May when we launched the boat to put it on the boat lift and we haven't taken it out since. It really helps with the seating.

I also bought the filler cushion for the sun lounger which is an option that I had never seen on a 200. I have girls that like to hang out on the back of the boat when at the island and they absolutely love it. I installed that at the same time as the jump seat and the only time I take it off is if we're going to do a slalom run in the morning. 2 great options that really transformed the interior of the boat for us.

I also plumbed in some additional sacs for surfing and am in the process of changing out my paddle wheel sensor for a GPS unit for speed but that should be about it for upgrades this season. I hope to get pictures of the installations up but have been too busy using the boat to edit anything.

Bturner can you take a picture of the filler cushion? I have never seen that before! Where did you get that from?

Sure, not really a good picture but it's the only one I have right now. I ordered it from Nautique Parts at the same time as the jump seat.....
