My boat only has one pair of speakers. If I pick up another pair, is it an easy add on? Is all the wiring already there to install these? Will I need another amp or can they share the original pair of tower speaker's amp? Anything to be aware of to add the additional pair?

Upon looking further, there are rubber plugs in the tower with wires hooked up behind them. Does anyone know if these wires are already ran to the amp?2009 SANTE 230

Can't say for sure on yours but mine were not. My wires were pre wired like yours but stopped on the port gunnel by the cup holders and were accessed by removing the access panel. I had to fish and run new speaker wires from there to the amp.
As to amp options..... The answer is, it depends. The smart and recommended move would be to either install another 2 channel amp to power the new speakers or (the way I would recommend and would do it for myself) replace the existing amp with an amp with two more channels. You might also be able to get away with running the speakers in parrallel at 2 ohms IF the amp supports it but this is typically not the recommended or best way to do the installation as you're now splitting the power to the sets of speakers and factory installations are notorious for being on the light side of the spec when it comes to powering speakers.
The direction you go will most likely depend on what's currently installed. I believe 2015 was the last year for Clarion amps in Nautiques but I could be wrong. If it still is Clarion you'll get off cheap if matching the existing components as their amps are far less expensive than say a JL Audio option. Be aware that there's more to adding an amp than just mounting it. You'll need new power and ground cables along with the correct sized breaker/fuse and ancillary wire and connectors that will go along with the installation. Plan the installation out before you purchase speakers and do your homework on cable and component requirements.

A 2015 would likely be Polk amps, and likely the PA40004. This would = 1 speaker p/chnl. But if it is the Polk 2 chnl, its 2 ohm p/chnl stable and I recommend running it at 2 ohm p/chnl.
Yes, 2 speakers per channels does now divide the supplied wattage, but also keep in mind that pretty much every amp on the market also has an increase in wattage going from 4 ohm to 2 ohm.
