I was looking into upgrading the stock 10" ib sub in my boat because you can't even really hear the thing. I wanted to build something that would give me great bass and not give up to much room in my storage compartment. I contacted my buddy who owns Cartronics ( A stereo shop where I live) and this is what we came up with. The boat originally came with the full JL system and had upgraded the tower to 4 JL 8.8 speakers. So as far as vocal sound I had plenty of volume, just lacked major sub presence. I also cut two holes in the boat to help vent out the locker area and covered them with the Rosewell vent grilles. I am now going to remove the trash can door and vent that as well because there is a TON of bass and air movement. We ended up going with 2 JL 12w6 subs and had to invert mount them due to air volume space in the box and me not wanting to loose storage space nor my trashcan. Luckily for me I work at a body shop and did all the paint work myself.

And here is the shots of almost finally product. Forgot to mention we embedded LED lighting into the box and also some lighting inside the compartment to match with my LED lighting inside the boat factory. Only thing I have left to do this week is finish up making the vent cover for the port in the box and install it. But man let me tell you, this stereo system sounds AMAZING now, actually a tad too much bass now, haha
