    Second sub ?

17 G23. A stereo guru I am not. Based on just following the wires, it appears the sub is wired in a “bridge” arrangement (red wires). It’s connected to a JL 800v2. Am I able and will I notice any significant increase in base if I connect a second sub...By un bridging the current connection and running another red black to a second sub. ?

In that scenario, you would be doubling the surface area, yet going from 200W rms to one sub to 75W rms to each, so a net reduction of 50W.

Honestly, I would add in a 600-800 watt rms @ 2 ohm mono to drive both woofers. More wattage, but also better tuning then the bridged 800/8 can offer.

I agree with MLA. Adding a second sub on that amp would be pointless as you will have no power going to them. You need to add a sub amp and just no longer use those channels on the 8 channel amp.
