What Are People Doing With Their Dome Lights in G23 When Upgrading Tower Speakers?

The dome lights on my 2013 G23 are built into the Roswells. Personally, I like them when you're cleaning up/wrapping up at night. Planning on upgrading the towers and was wondering what others were doing to retain the dome light feature when upgrading your towers!

Depends on what you're upgrading to. If JL then you can add these to the back of the speaker.....

bturner I didn't see these! I was definitely considering the M6 ETXv3 so this would be PERFECT for that setup.

What about the Wet Sounds option?

That I don't know. I've been installing JL for people lately and haven't done Wet Sounds for some time. Not that there's anything wrong with them, it's just what I've been installing.

bturner Yea the JLs are my first choice. Curious if you have any opinion on the Roswell R1 Pros? https://www.roswellmarine.com/produc...ower-speakers/. They look pretty amazing (minus the fact you cant really use them while you're moving if they're blue or red). I haven't heard them in person or heard much about them TBH though.

Sorry I'm a one trick pony lately. I only do 1 or 2 boats a year these days, mostly for friends or boats I'm keeping short term. Seems like every time I do a stereo I end up doing a dual battery and tons for clean up from a previous installation which then takes the installation from a day to as long as a week. It amazes me the stuff people will do.

bturner do you happen to know the size of the tower tubing? I'd love to get the JL swivel clamps https://www.jlaudio.com/collections/...nting-hardware

Sorry, I do not. Hopefully one of the other members will be able to answer that and chime in.....

JL offers nautique specific tower bracket. they do not rotate however. JL's help desk has a very helpful pipe clamp ruler you can print out and get what clamp size you need

distinguishedmotorsports so if I want swivel, I'll need to measure the pipe and put a pipe clamp on there with the swivel clamp. If I want to use the OEM tower mounts that my roswells are mounted to, I'll need to get the nautique specific tower bracket but they won't swivel?

Still considering 4 REV10s for this boat. I guess just to cover the grounds in this thread, if someone were to go with Wetsounds or a tower that Doesn't have an option for the dome light addons like JL, what should one do?

i would consider the REV threesome before two pairs of REV10s. the threesome is a pair of rev10s and one rev410 in the center. Can get all swivel clamps, which will allow you to rotate the rev10s a little, and the 410 may need the swivels, depending on your tower. also correct that nautique specific mounts from JL ausio do not rotate. You could get swivel mounts no problem, but they will hang lower.

Thanks distinguishedmotorsports The 410s are a great combo in one unit, I've just never warmed up to the look of them for one reason or another.
