Folks - I have a 2021 G23 on order, and I've received the delivery date in October and serial number. It is well optioned with steering assist and the ZR7 engine. The only thing I've been vacillating over is the Wavefront stereo upgrade. My dealer says skip it - the base unit sounds fine, and the Wavefront is remarkably expensive. That said, I've never bought a new boat, and I'd hate to miss something that dramatically increases the family's enjoyment. Educated opinions from folks who have experienced both would be welcomed. Thanks!

If you optioned steering assist wavefront is peanuts. Plus it sounds better with most music imo. If all you listen to is bass heavy stuff then you don’t notice it as much.

I have had both options myself. Neither my 18 or 19 G23 had the wavefront and I thought it was fine, however, I did order my 2021 G23 with all the stereo options and wow what a difference. The wave front is part of the "studio elite" package so you get 2 12" subs instead of one with a 1000 watt amp, which makes the cost seem more tolerable. They have also upgraded the speakers on the 2021 to 7.7" instead of 6.5" in the cabin but those would be in the standard package as well. I have spent many hours tuning the amps as they are digital now with tons of equalization so either way you can make the "stock" system sound a whole lot better. So to answer you question, in my opinion the upgraded audio is worth it, especially compared to the other options you have already selected.Comment
