RE: 2006 SV 211 TE Sub Question
gnautiqueman,
The XMD3 is a good deck but the documentation does a poor job of explaining all of it's capabilities. You may be able to do it through the deck, but you might be better off turning up the gain control on the sub's amp. There are probably 5 or 10 different ways to accomplish your goal but it's difficult to make a good recommendation without knowing more about your system. Venting the storage compartment may be the answer? I am no fan of the stock location for Nautique subs.

RE: 2006 SV 211 TE Sub Question
I'd check your x over frequency (filter) first. it could be set so low that only really low lows will be heard/felt. Check the frequency then adjust the gain as necessary.I don\'t care.

RE: 2006 SV 211 TE Sub Question
Mikeski - you are correct the documenation is slim regarding making adjustments. The boat is 90 miles away so I'll give the gain control a try in a couple of weeks.
Onthewater - I'll try the frequency adjustment first as well.
thanks

RE: 2006 SV 211 TE Sub Question
You might also check to be sure that the outputs that you're using for the sub are NOT set to full frequency range.
The following will change the programming of the rear RCA pre-amp outputs between full frequency range and subwoofer range.
1) Press and hold "Title/ADJ" button for two seconds
2) Use "SEARCH" button to scroll through the menu until the display reads "SW LPF".
3) Press the "VOL UP/DOWN" button to dis-engage "REAR" full frequency range audio signal.
4) Once the desired adjustments are completed, press "TITLE/ADJ" button to exit program menu.
WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED THAT IF THE BATTERY SOURCE IS DISCONNECTED FOR MORE THAN 48 HOURS, THE RE-PROGRAMMING IS LOST.
IF A BATTERY IS REMOVED FOR WINTER STORAGE, THE RE-PROGRAMMING WILL BE NECESARY AGAIN IN THE SPRING."I own and operate Silver Cove Marine, which is an inboard boat restoration, service, and sales facility located in Mooresville, North Carolina. RE: 2006 SV 211 TE Sub Question
I'm having difficulty with my sub as well. When I try the steps outlined in NautiqueJeff's post to disengage "rear" full frequency range, I only get sound out of the bow speakers. I've got a team edition '05 SV-211 with a factory install (clarion deck and amp with polk speakers). Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
