Ok so I have a 2010 210 that has never had tower speakers. It it the team edition so the tower is pre wired. However I pulled the plugs out of the tower to pull out the speaker wire, then went under the observer seat to check the other end of the speaker wires and I noticed the were dangling under the tower mount with a 4 prong plug. So my question is what is that plug called so I can buy one to splice into it to lengthen the wires to get to the amp, and what rca’s do I plug into the factory cmd6 for the second amp? Also do I need a gain control for the factory amp to turn down in boat speakers while the tower speakers stay loud? I do not see any zone control in any of my LINC 1.0 settings.

You can lengthen the wires to the amp.
2 channel RCAs plugged into the clarions REAR rca jacks.
you should just be able to use the fader on the clarion to adjust the tower/in boat speaker balance. zone control on linc 1.0 idk about, possibly can be enabled by a dealer.

I use the JL Audio RLC - Remote Level Control on all my installations. Bit of a pain to route the cable for the control but once installed it is a super simple and quick way to turn down your tower speakers. No fiddling with panels holding or tapping screen buttons, just a quick turn and you're set.....
