The boat is already equipped with factory-installed color-changing lighting controlled through the Linc screen. Being from the color-changing led lighting industry I would like to upgrade the system from standard RGB to RGBCT and add lighting.
What I'm trying to figure out is what output protocol the Linc uses.
I'm hoping it's DMX or SPI or Art-Net which is simple to add and improve.
If it's using a PWM, 0-10 it gets a little tricky and I don't want to damage the Linc.
Kaz,
I'm had some difficulties wiring up my 2021 GS22 also. I have the factory RGB system also, but adding speakers and additional cup holders and courtesy lighting. So found 1 of my issues is I had a short in you tower speaker blue wire so once I took that out of line It fixed a few of my issues. I'm using an amplifier for the additional RGB lights and that seems to interface with the LINC system good. I also wired up underwater lights to turn on with the LINC turn on and change colors with the LINC courtesy colors. Looks like the PWM amplifiers interface with the LINC pretty good. I did find out that the factory system is limited to 10 amps so try not to exceed that when adding lights without amplifiers to it.. Also I'm also having trouble finding the actual controller box also if anyone knows where that interface is I would appreciate it.
