    so this is the new competitor to ipod from microsoft. i have read a few websites on it, does anybody have any more info?

    The fact that it has video output is awesome...
    But I actually just learned that my iPod video has it too. Just need the cables. Very cool feature.

      Don't think anybody will knock the ipod out of the no. 1 spot.

      To me it just looks like another ipod wannabe.

        They'll probably end up getting sued by Apple. Oh well, they can afford it.

          This will become very interesting. Microsoft and Apple both have the goal of controling your living room. Remember, MS is also releasing Windows Vista this winter too. That will almost be a TiVo in a computer. Add in the ability to work with your xbox 360 and the Zune you can see where they are going. The problem for them is 80% of the market currently uses iTunes. What could help them out a lot is if the EU does say that Apple needs to open up the codes for iTunes then it will really help MS out. Even the guys at MS know they are in for an uphill battle, but remember at one time we all used Netscape for a browser then after years of everyone saying no, we almost all use IE. The real uphill battle for them is all the new car radios coming out that have specific iPod attachments, GM and Ford introduce them this fall. That's how XM really took off, after they signed their deal wtih GM to put XM in all the cars.

          Just my thoughts, it'll be an interesting winter seeing how the battles take place.........
