Planning installation of new sound system for 2015 G23 Coastal - feedback needed

Installing completely new sound system in the G23

I currently have 2 sets of 6 gauge power supply wire installed in the boat, so i want to balance the power distribution between the two 6 gauge wires so i dont have to upgrade to 4 gauge wire, as it would be a pain. 6 gauge is rated for 55 amps max, so ill try to keep the amps used under 40 for each set of power supply wires

    PLAN A:

    1. 6.5in x 6 interior speakers - Wetsounds recon or similar speaker in the 70 to 80 rms watt range with RGB LED
    run all new wiring

    2. Wet Sounds HTX-6, 6 channel amp. 100w/channel for each of the 6 interior speakers

    6*80 rms = 480 watts / 14 volts = 34 amps in one of the 6 gauge power wires.

    3. tower speakers are 2x 7.7 JL. these are good, replaced recently so ill keep them. rated for about 100rms watts
    4. 10in sub needs replaced. im not sure yet on this one.

    5. power the tower speakers and subs with Wetsounds HTX-4, 4 channel amp. 100rms watts x4.
2 of the 100 watt channels for the 2 tower speakers. bridge other 2 channels to give 300 rms watts to the 10in sub.
im not sure if 300 watts is enough however? sub probably needs to be a 250watt rms since supply is only 300watts rms?

    100 x2 + 300 = 500 watts / 14 volts = 36 amps. well within range for 6 gauge wire

    PLAN B

upgrade 2nd amp to a Wet Sounds SYN-DX 4 800 Watt 4 Channel. 125 watts rms to each tower speaker. 400 rms watts bridged to the sub

this might require upgrading to 4 gauge wire however

    thoughts?

    thanks
    -Phil

Watts RMS is AC volts and your 14V is in DC. Cant strictly apply Ohms law.

Id choose my woofer and enclosure, before deciding on an amp.
