    Wiring a 04 SAN Tower

Hey guys, I just received my new 04 SAN and have a light bar and speakers to mount on the tower. I was impressed to see that the base of the tower was pre drilled both through the foot plate and the hull to allow for easy wiring.

My question is does the tower have any pre drilled holes running through the front to back bracing; I would like to bring the speaker wires out on the back of the tower.

Any ideas or comments would be appreciated before I start to drill holes in the tower?

    Thanks

Yes the base of the tower is drilled its a very small hole. You still should remove the tower and make the Hole larger, ( it only takes about 15min to take the tower off) so the wires dont pinch it will be a thick loom of wires running up to a 5 light bar I have some picks in my Gallery of what Im talking about. Ill post a link. Plus running wires is much easyer when you have the tower off and on the ground make sure you mont your Bimini before you drill into your tower so you know the wires wont get in the way of your bimini.

That setup rocks. I have a question. What size hole would you recomend drilling for four speakers and four lights in the lower portion of the tower and the upper portion of the tower to run the wires, and also what size hole at the top part of the upper portion? Also is the tower mount basicly the same for the 03 SANTE? Again your set up rockes.

      Thanks.

Basically for what I can see in your pictures is that all the wires have to exit the tower from the front tube. I was hoping to make it a little cleaner and bring the speaker wires out the back tube but I guess there is no way to get it to the back there.

Thanks for the info, I will post my progress as I go.

          Wake O ride:

Your Question :What size hole would you recomend drilling for four speakers and four lights ? in the lower portion of the tower and the upper portion of the tower to run the wires,
Answer: It all depends on how large the loom of wires you end up with. I would make 2 wires looms. 1 loom for the speakers and 1 loom for the lights. Try to find that flexable wire covering I used to cover the wires 2 reasons it keeps the wires together and it keeps the wires from binding when passing them threw the tower, Plus in the event you take speaker wire out you dont have to remove the tower lights wire or vice verca.

Get your wires together and drill the hole on the bace of the tower be sure to make sure this holw is over sizes and the wires dont pinch or bind at all. and smoooth all edges so the wires cant get cut . where ever a wire passes in or out of the tower it should go threw a gromit.

Look at the website again and read the text it explaines it all

This is the braded wire cover. The red wires are speaker leeads and the black wires are lights
