Yes another amp question .... please advise .

Purchased a new pair of REV10's , wondering if a Rockford Fosgate Punch 600X4 bridged will be enough to push them ??? thanks

That's the exact same amp I'm using to push mine. Its bridged to 2 channels of course.

Bridged into 2 channel mode at 300W rms x 2, thats all that amp has to offer and its just hitting the speakers rms. This leaves zero headroom. So the sound quality at the higher volume levels can suffer a little. A bridged 4 chnl yielding more wattage or a 2 chnl @ 4 ohm stereo with the same 300W rms or better, is more ideal.

I can say no one has ever said to me the stereo in my boat isn't loud enough. 99% of the time I'm being asked to turn it down.

Thanks guys !! I was a little worried it was underpowered side of the speakers , but i also don't want to overdue the speakers. I am amp , ohms, rms illiterate , lol . I am glad to hear you like that amp Stevemo14 , i am leaning that way due to cost . I see the SYn and JL750 alot of people use but they are like another $600 more , are they really that much better ??? O - H

My boat is up on the Maumee full time. I have a camp spot at Lucy's 22. If you wanna stop by this weekend and check it out for yourself or meet somewhere on the water just let me know.

LOL , grew up 2 houses to west of the west drive from Lucy's,( my sister still lives there ) .... when i was a kid i would help Lucy , Bob and Linda do the spring clean up . Pretty sure i know which boat is yours , i put a pic of mine in my profile. I trailer now , so usually go by Lucy's slowly on way in to Mary Jane at end of day, maybe you will recognize. Should be out on Sunday all day ,

The JLA MHD amps are great but are current hogs (take a lot of amps). the amp you previously listed will be great.
