How do I make my tower speakers louder

I have the stock system, which I know isnt going to be the loudest thing in the world, but I would like a little more tunes out on the water. Any suggestions using the current settup? I have dual tower speakers and the defcon outfit. Thanks for your suggestions!

Have you set the amp up correctly, because it isn't from the factory.(unless the dealer did it).Make sure all the eq adjustments are set to flat on the head unit, make sure the fader is set to neutral position F/R=.Turn the gain on the amp all the way down.Turn the head unit up to 3/4 max volume.turn the gain on the amp up until you hear slight distortion, then turn gain down slightly. That's as loud as they get without damaging something or upgrading components. This is based on the defcon3 running the small 2 ch. amp for the tower speakers.Keep an eye on the bow speakers.I unplugged mine until I upgrade the stereo because the factory wires the bow speakers to the head unit, and the other speakers to the amps. When you get the amps adjusted and crank up the tunes, the bow speakers are duing crazy things due to the way they're wired.not good
