'17 G23 JL speaker no sound - front cockpit

Just purchased a used '17 G23. First time Nautique owner!!! Noticed the front speaker is not providing any sound. Any recommendations for troubleshooting? Fuse box, remove cover, etc.

Have you checked the Zone Control settings in the LINC system? Start there and make sure those speakers aren't muted.

I checked the cockpit zone and they seemed to be on. Not sure how to tell if they are muted. I did not notice the speaker was not working when we test drove.

also noticed the 2 courtesy lights at back of cockpit below the engine compartment are also not working. Very odd.
