    Rev8s on FCT5 (2012 SAN 230) with Z5 Bimini

I purchased Rev8s to replace the top 2 factory speakers on my ‘12 230 with the Z5 Bimini. I went with 8s to avoid lowering the Bimini but I ran into some problems fitting them. I purchased the swivel clamps in order to rotate the speakers but found there was no room to fit the speakers correctly. One of the bars from the bimini is in the way to mount them in the same location as the factory speakers. The only place there is room is to mount them on the bend of the tower, but that defeats the purpose of the swivel since the speakers would rotate in a different orientation. I also purchased the wetsounds FCT5 mounting plates but those are not compatible with the swivel clamps. Do I need to get the Rev8s without the swivel clamps in order to fit? I want to verify those would fit before I do that.

Also, I purchased the light kit for the speakers. When the store tried installing them, they mentioned there was only 1 wire for the LED in the existing factory wires instead of 3. What’s the best way to connect these? I don’t mind staying with a single color that would match my boat, but all my other speaker lights are able to change to any color. Thanks

The ADP Nautique FC5-U and FC5-L are indeed compatible with the Wet Sounds TC3-S and TC3-SXM swivel clamp/mount.

You need 4 conductors for the multi-color RGB. Best advice, leave the OEM light wires as is and pull a single 4-conductor of appropriate gauge just for the new LED rings.
