    Speaker / Tower question

I have a 2006 SANTE210 and replacing the factory cans with 4 JL Audio M6 8.8 Tower Speakers. I am trying to figure out if the rear tube of the tower (red arrow) has access to run the wires in the crossbar (blue oval) to the front tube? You drill a hole where the M6 mounts to the tube to conceal the speaker wire. From what I can tell it doesn't appear to have access in the rear of the tower like there is between the crossbar and the tube at the front.

I do not want to have zip ties securing the wire to the tube.

No it does not… only way to gain access would be to drill a hole through the tubing into the crossbar. You could then plug the visible hole in the tubing with a plastic cap or similar.

Thanks Jason - not the answer I was looking for but it is what it is. Anyone have any other ideas on drilling the holes so the wires can pass through the tower and be concealed?

Only other thing you could do is route the wires to the rear tube, but then you'll need a connector at the point where the tower splits so you can still fold the tower if needed.

There's also mounting the speakers on the front tube of the tower, bit IMO that doesn't look pleasing.
